The other week my band was playing a gig. I had broken my "alcohol seal" so to speak. So in a slow song that the guitarist doesnt play in (no solos,or lead work) so he played when i ran to the toilet. I was back onstage halfway through the song, went behind him and played octaves on the bass...

Unfortunately i cant. Every body part has to be handmade.

So for part of my woodworking project in school, im building a thunderbird. No experience in building basses atall, this is my first build. Any tips/pointers if this is an easy build or not? i also wonder, what would be the best cheap and light wood to use for it, while still being half decent...

Ive been looking at an extended range bass now and am thinking on buying one. I have questions though... Which would be better for the stuff i play? (Rock,metal,country,funk). Which brand is the best for my budget? (about £500,600 at most) any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.
