@Jim C - No, I didn’t get one, though I definitely considered it. I’m leaning towards a Long Hollow Softy padded leather strap.

It’s similar to the heel on my MIM Fender Deluxe Active Precision Bass. You might be able to see in the attached photo that a corner of the neck heel is rounded. My neck plate has 4 vs. 5 screws, though.
