    Anyone got experience with/opinions about 12 string basses? I have seen MusicVox still makes them but I have not seen any prices. When I go to a company web site and see their products but don't see their prices, it always makes me very cautious. Thanks, Mike

    "Spendy" is the term used here as regards the pricing. However, that really has little meaning. Can someone give a reasonable approximation of one of these stated in dollars? They are truly beautiful looking and sounding. Heck, you never can tell...

    Bought one new when I was is high school in early 60's. No matter what the "blend" of the two pickups you choose, it had one tone; "thump". It was still fun to play. I wish I still owned it.

    I had a Ferrington Bass (did not say "Kramer" anywhere on it) many years ago. Can you say "feedback"..! It was fun, but I had so many feedback problems with it I finally just sold it...
