Our lead guitarist just bought a Fender twin, it is so damn loud the sound guy doesn't put in the house speakers. It is also so damn heavy somebody put casters on the bottom of it. That is the 70's thing.

Yes they have. However a redesigned cab with 2x15 with a tweeter - that has a on/off switch is now on the market. Mark Bass went from a black front cover to gold. GC has it for $950. Mike B.

For $2000 I first got a original 1976 Rickenbacker 4 string bass, I then found a original 1969 Gibson 4 string bass for just over $2000. My 3rd find was a original Fender P bass for just over $2000. If you look long enough you can find amazing basses. BTW all 3 are in mint condition. Mike B.

My daughter and son-in-laws band opened for Foghat. Foghat paid for any equipment they needed and my daughters group got paid 5x that amount.

Charlzm - I got a 1978 Ric bass in mint condition from Chicago for $1900. The reason it is more is because it is coming from hollywood. I saw a Ric out in Hollywood that wasn't in as good a shape as mine. They wanted $25000,00 for it because it came out of some recording studio out there.

I am convinced it is the bass fairies. They just show up and shazamm, all of a sudden they just dump all this bass equipment in our home and they know we can't resist any of it. Just my thought process. Live long and play bass. Mike B. :)
