well, recently i just purchased a bass amp from this local guy on craigslist. he sold it to me for 30 bucks. it's in good condition. I'm not sure how many watts it really is. I was thinking 50. At the back it says: 50 watts 8 ohms 20 v RMS and then under the plug it says... 120...

i try so hard to like squiers, but not much of a fan. my first guitar too and to be honest, i can never go back :hmm: yes, they may look nifty at times, but their tone doesn't do it for me.

I am not really a fan of combos, wish i had a half stack, but that's a bit too pricey. been looking at a used fender bxr 200 w (max 540 w) to play at shows for 200$. is it worth it?

i have never tried ernie ball bass strings before. but, they're the only strings i will ever use on guitar, and i don't think i will have a different opinion for the bass. it's cheap in value, yet durable. i love it.

yes, that sounds like a good idea. i was surprised it was so cheap also because other half stacks or combo amps i saw were more pricey than the peavey for example... a bassman 100 combo amp. but, i am not a fan of combo amps. and another thing is... i really want to get into bass effects, but...
