sentimental quest of my own is a partsbass special: mark hoppus jazz body - hopefully daphne blue, black hoppus shaped pickguard, G&L MFD humbucker wired into an original L1000 circuit, black duff neck & tuners...undecided on bridge... slowly acquiring parts...its been a quest for sure!

probably because there isnt a steel control plate on a hoppus, unless theres a foil backing on the guard? i havent opened mine to see. I'd still buy it =)

i think its a critical design error which makes your bass unplayable. its ok though, ill buy it from you cheap just to make sure you dont lose out. Happy to help =)
