Wedge style amp or powered monitor for bass to supplement HX Stomp and IEMs?

To start off, I have a nice GK 2x10 combo and 15" extension speaker that I use as backup and to feel the bass a little along with my IEMs. That's fine for most gigs where we have lots of time, sound check, etc.. What I'm looking for is something that's a quick setup for multiple band "tribute...

Downsizing from rigs of doom...which path did you take?

GK Neo all the way to supplement my in ear monitors. Got a 500 watt 210 combo amp and just added an extra 15 Neo cab for bigger venues when I need to feel that bass a bit more

SOLD Spector Euro 4 LX IAN HILL

What's different about the Ian Hill model? Just the visuals or are the electronics/tone markedly different? Does it have that Spector growl? And just curious, what did you not like about the neck?

Boss GT-10B in 2023! Does it sucks?!

Well the Tribute bands only do 3-4 gigs each per year. And the original project is slow going. A bunch of picky musicians want everything perfect, LOL.

Super-Clean, Powerful Head Poll: There Can Be Only One

I'd imagine the Boss would work... you're essentially going to your own personal mini PA by just using a power amp and cab. I go direct to the PA from my BOSS GT10B and your GT1B has similar amp and speaker emulation. I don't even use the cab sim on mine, just the amp sim for overdrive...

Boss GT-10B in 2023! Does it sucks?!

Nothing wrong with that... the GT 10B does do a bit more but not everyone needs a myriad of tones and effects. I'm doing a Stone Temple Pilots and Alice in Chains tribute, whose bass players each have distinctly different tones and use various flangers, wah, octaver, chorus, overdive, etc...

DI Box Necessary For Amp Going To PA?

Old comment but this still applies in 2023! I'm using in ears now and I have bands in 2 different states, and different amps for home and away gigs, LOL. I just go direct from my Boss GT10-B EFX pedal via an XLR cable. and most FOH guys love it. I also EQ my patches to sound good through...

Boss GT-10B in 2023! Does it sucks?!

I still use mine at every gig! Since I'm using in ear monitors now I actually run direct to the board from the GT10B's XLR output. A LOT of FOH guys tell me it's the best sounding and easiest to mix bass signal that they've ever worked with. I put a lot of work into tweaking and equalizing...
