    Official Fernandes Club

Hi Folks ! I got a Fernandes Atlas Deluxe 5 on a trade. I replaced the original pickguard with a new one (clear). I'm using it this week and it feels very solid, confortable and with a nice tone. Could I have a number on this club, please ?

Sterling by Music Man SUB 5 x Fernandes Atlas de Luxe 5 string

As far as I know, the Deluxe version is neck thru body and 5x is bolt on neck. The 5x uses Fernandes pickup and the De Luxe uses Seymour Duncan SMB5A pickups. I had some Korean (Tobias Toby Pro 6 string, Cort B4FL) and Indonesian basses (Cort Action V,Yamaha BB415) and I think both countries do...

    "Raw" P-Bass

I imagine that it will be dirty and stained really fast. Yes, I'm reading something about Tung Oil finish. I must apply it how many times ? It will be applied pure or thinned ? Which kind of thinner ? Which thinner to oil ratio ? May I use the Tung Oil finish in neck too ...

    "Raw" P-Bass

Hi Folks ! I´m planning to build a really simple project of a "Raw" P-Bass, just for rehearsals. I´m intending buying a P-Bass made of Ash, unfinished and let it this way. Just put the pickguard, all other parts and just play. It is will be there any problems in the future ? Thinking...

    4 String Bass Limitations

I share the same opinion. A 5er just makes sometimes things easier, letting you play more vertically than needs to go horizontally. Just it. The additional notes are just 5 (from B to D#), but sometimes these very low notes adds a more dramatical approach. I have a 5er and 2 other 4 strings...

    Opinion needed! New rig idea.

Well, I´m using a Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 with an Aguilar GS112. Easy to bring with you, loud and fat. It is OK for my needs. I intended to buy a Genz-Benz NEO 2 x 12" , but I have no space for it.
