    Eden WT-800

I believe their early amps used Ruby tubes rebranded to Eden. They were 7025s. Later, I think they just used regular Ruby tubes.

Do you run your bass' volume control wide open?

I have run sound in almost every band I've been in (10 or so). I don't like people "sandbagging" me by leaving room on their volume knob. But I do it without fail. There are times when you just need that little "extra push over the cliff." But yes, many recommend that you run the volume maxed on...

    Precision Bass Sound

My first bass was an early 1965 P-bass. It got stolen in about 1980 - best thing that ever happened to me. I did not like it in any way. I don't like that "tubular" sound at all. Two-pickup basses are all I've owned since then (1977). The guy who sold it to me, a college classmate, is doing...

Anyone else this crazy with their gear?

I don't have that one, but I do have an HDN212. I played an outdoor festival gig with it. The sound man miked everything including the bass. After the gig, I said, "Soooahhhh - how much bass did you put in the PA?" Him: "None. Didn't need it."

Anyone else this crazy with their gear?

Your post motivated me to dig out my 1996 Eden WT-300 to see why I liked it. I had a D-410XLT and D-410XST back when I could lift them with a WT-800C to drive them. Anyway, I plugged the WT-300 into my CN210 prototype and ran through some of the tones. It certainly is a different flavor from...

Anyone else this crazy with their gear?

As one who has owned all of the AE cabs and some each of the HT, CN, HDN, HG and now NXT cabs, I can tell you that all of them have that accurate Bergantino sound. I can't really say that any of them sounded "better" than the others. Why do I keep selling them and getting the latest? I'm just a...

Best bass amp for playing in acustics band?

Bergantino Forte and NXT112 cab. B|Amp MK2 if you like a lot of bells and whistles. That amp will do pretty much everything, but mostly it starts with clean, accurate sound from top to bottom.

    Double Bass I’m Done…

I've owned and sold amps and cabs by Glockenklang, Walter Woods, Mesa (3), Demeter, Peavey (2), Eden (4), Genz Benz, Hartke, Aguilar (2), TC Electronic, Bergantino, Gallien Krueger (3) and maybe others I forgot and, except for my 1996 Eden WT-300, all I own now is Bergantino. My first Bergantino...
