What tuners would someone recommend for replacements of Epiphone Thunderbird 60s?

I just emailed Sterling and told them about it and sent pics and they are sending a new set of tuners free of charge. The guy said they would be inspected before shipping but I'll take that with a grain of salt

I was wondering if anyone here has done this already. I have a Dimension 5 and was wondering about possibly getting the Mike Inez pickup and putting it in the neck position. Could I keep the wiring as it is and just drop the pickup in?

I have a Spector Dimension 5 and wondered if I could just buy the neck pickup and switch out the one that's in the bass already without having to do anything with the wiring but idk if I could get the voice options that way?

I am no longer going to be using two cabs. Ive gone down to single cab setup. Heritage SVT CL with an Ampeg 410HLF. I will be spending some time with it tonight to get it hopefully dialed in and see if I can still hear any problems.

I have measured pickup height and everything is in spec.

But But why would it all of a sudden sound different if the pickups haven't moved from where they have been? Which they haven't

Thats something I've been thinking about doing as well.
