Bass tone not sounding right

I was using it to eliminate the basses as being the problem as well as my pedal signal chain.
Sounds like you did fine job of that. So looks like the issue somehow involves your cabs?
Someone else suggested starting with a single cab and if that was OK, start adding more cabs, one at a time. Stop if the weirdness begins, you've found the offending combination.
Also rinse and repeat the above at another location to rule out room acoustics.

I am no longer going to be using two cabs. Ive gone down to single cab setup. Heritage SVT CL with an Ampeg 410HLF. I will be spending some time with it tonight to get it hopefully dialed in and see if I can still hear any problems.
