So this thread is a couple years old so I'm guessing there should be some good insight. I'm a Ampeg fan having had several cabs and a couple heads. I want a 7 pro . Are there certain years or serial numbers to stay away from? What else to look for?

Tried the pressure rounds and like them. Smoother but still bright. Being a pick player going to try something a little more subtle. Going to try the D'Addario ECB81 next. Thanks everyone.

Thanks! I ordered some this morning. I'd still like to try to flats if anyone has any suggestions. Maybe D'Addario (.045, .065, .085, .105.) flatwounds?

I usually play EB slinkies or hybrids, 45-105. I'm wanting a less bright sound and thinking of trying flat rounds. Reading they take extra tension, which flats do you suggest?

I tried it out today that sounds great. After I pull the amp out i will cover it up. I believe the cover needs to be there for proper air flow.

Hardly used. I forgot I had this thing. I figured I might as well get a couple bucks for it instead of just sitting in the drawer. Has always worked great. Comes with a manual but no AC adapter. $40 plus actual shipping from 93230. Preferred CONUS. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]...

Just shrinking down my pedal train. I've had this for a few months (bought here on TB) and I'm finding I just don't use it. Has a couple tiny scratches on the top right side middle (barely see in the picture). There's nothing on the back, no rubber pads, no velcro. Works great. MXR M288...

Tried it and returned it. For the price (retail) I didn't think it was worth it. Sounded too synthesized. If I could get a great deal on one I might try it again but I'd split it out to a guitar amp.
