I'm a Scandal band fan. They are not really technical but I love their songs. They are good performers too. I've seen them played twice already. If you are into all japanese girl band, I also recommend (aside from Scandal), Band Maid, Drops, Aldious, Dollsboxx, and Mary's Blood.

The first song I learned in guitar was Stand By Me. The chords are G Em C D if you use a capo. When I decided to try bass, I heard that song again and realized that the song has a nice basslines. It also became the first song that I learned in Bass.

It matters to me. The first thing that I will notice in a bass is it's color. If I don't like the color of the finish, I will not test it and therefore I will not know the tone and feel of it.

Mostly sitting. I like to memorize the bass lines first. After memorizing the bass lines, I will practice it with the song. If I can do it without problem in timing then I will practice it standing.

I'm one of those with expensive bass with limited talent. My expensive SX bass boost my ego. I don't really care about talent when I play it. :)

I'm a one bass person too. As much as possible, I want my SX P bass to be my only bass. Lately though, I've been thinking of buying another bass as my secondary bass. I will leave that bass on my parents house so I don't have to carry my bass on a 60km commute during weekends.
