    Clip on tuners??

    I don't like the snark. It is slow to read the E string, especially if you ever tune down at all. Also, with loud rock and roll guitars in the room , forget it, the vibrations from them render my Snark useless. They also look silly live on stage, IMHO, and diminish a rock and roll aesthetic...

    What beer are you drinking right now? Part III

    I stopped drinking 3 months ago but before that it was Uinta Hop Notch IPA 7.3% ABV, nightly, excessively. Stopping has been the best thing to happen to my playing in a long time!! My taste buds are sad but oh we'll, life is a series if trade offs is it not?

    Most important lessons you have learned about bass

    just don't ever stop playing. even if you don't feel like practicing, pick up your axe anyway and play something, ANYTHING, even if only for a minute or two. You might find you all of the sudden feel like it. Oh yeah, and it's not the bass you play, it's what you play on the bass that counts, IMO.
