Body cracks in my LTD F-204....

I'm wondering what my best bet would be to repair these cracks. I was thinking about stripping all the paint off and using wood filler on them, then repainting. I don't believe these cracks effect the sound, but I just can't stand knowing that these are present. The one crack runs from the input...

    Need some help with pickups...

Never mind the question above. The guy flaked out on me with this bass. So, I bought an ESP LTD F-204 instead. Love it.

Thanks. I didn't even think to look for that section of TB. I'll post the question there.

    Need some help with pickups...

Hello, all. I'm purchasing a Yamaha rbx765 5 string bass in Translucent Green. I'm wondering if anyone has had this bass and do they know if the stock pickups are decent. I'm considering putting in some Bartoloni humbuckers in it. Does anyone know if this will bring out a better tone with this...

    Need some help with pickups...

I'm about to buy a Yamaha rbx765a 5 string bass in Translucent Green. I'm getting a real good deal in my opinion. It's practically new and I'm getting it for $170. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I should invest in some Bartoloni pickups to put in this beast. I really don't remember...

Poll: Best Metal/Hard Rock TUBE preamp

Yep, I agree with most. I have the RBI.....it's very versatile. You can achieve so many tones with it. I highly suggest it for metal/rock.

One channel on my SVT 4 Pro is not working.

I have no clue what the slo-blow fuse is or where it would be located. I've never really worked on my own amps or cabs before. Still kinda green in that area. I'm just hoping that whatever is wrong is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. I know I haven't done anything that would cause it to blow.

Question about Amp and Cab combination

Like the others said, I would definitely check your pickup height. I've also found out that 10" speakers have a tighter, more punchy sound than a 15". They'll still hit the lows, but have a better mids and highs.

Question about waxing my new Warwick bass

The owner's manual that comes with all Warwick basses, states that any bass that is unfinished should be waxed once a week. But, I'm assuming that's for people who play it everyday and are in a more dry climate than our Great Lake area. I found out that once a month is plenty.Maybe even two. The...

One channel on my SVT 4 Pro is not working.

I haven't tried to run it mono/bridge with the one channel being out. I tried it when I first bought the amp and both channels were functioning properly. I just thought it was too much power for the single 8x10 alone. That's why I ran it in dual mono. I haven't tried it because I believe it...

One channel on my SVT 4 Pro is not working.

I did check that, just to be sure it wasn't the cables. Is it not good to try to run each set of 4x10's off of one channel? I don't know what it'd be considered, it's not running it in bridge, it's just powering all 8 10's off of one channel. Is that harmful to one channel?

One channel on my SVT 4 Pro is not working.

I have an SVT810e that I'm running with my SVT 4 Pro. I noticed last night that Channel A on my head is not working. I'm running it in Dual/Mono. Does anyone know what can be done? Should I just run both full range sets off of Channel B, or should I try to run it mono/bridged? I think I tried to...

Need new corners and handle for my Ampeg 8x10 cab.

Yeah, I looked through there earlier this morning. The one place that claims to have them, I keep getting an error page when I click on the link. Getting very frustrating. Thanks for the advise. I'll keep lookin.
