Body cracks in my LTD F-204....

I'm wondering what my best bet would be to repair these cracks. I was thinking about stripping all the paint off and using wood filler on them, then repainting. I don't believe these cracks effect the sound, but I just can't stand knowing that these are present. The one crack runs from the input jack cavity up, around the body and stops right next to the pickup selector knob. The other goes from the input jack cavity, around the body and stops just inside the cover for the electronics. The body has plenty of scratches and dings, so this is why I'm considering stripping it all down and having it repainted. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I'm posting a picture(not that great of pics) of the two that I'm dealing with.

Are you sure the cracks are in the wood, and not just in the finish? It's hard to tell in the pictures.

Wood filler isn't going to help. If you could work some glue into the crack and then clamp it shut, it would help stabilize the wood and prevent the cracks from getting worse. You could probably do that without stripping the finish.

Personally, if it doesn't affect the playability and isn't getting worse, I'd leave it alone.
