In my experience if one amp is pointed at the other amp sonic mud results. Turn the guitar amp to face the same direction as the Bass amp not at it.

I have owned a couple of stingrays and I liked the 2 band pre better than the 3 band because the mids were just right and you could not change them. The 3 band just did not sound right to me and I could never get it to sound like the 2 band so off it went.

Eventide H90 has some awesome effect engines in it but you need a computer programmer to make up your own patches. If you want to spend most of your time figuring out how to make it do what you want it to do then grab one for 1K but 2 used H9 will serve you much better. Wonder why they did mot...

Look at Sire 5 Strings maybe used they are well regarded.

I never found the Barbershop to suck the low end at all. I moved on from the darkglass because it seemed to me to be Mid forward sounding and I was looking for more of a vintage sound.

Having used both of those pedals and still having the Barbershop That would be my choice. You have to remnember your grit comes mostly from the sag knob.
