    Double Bass Tuff Bag - too big for my Shen willow - what would you rec?

    I have been using a tuff bag for years on my Shen 3/4 and it fits fine. I thought it was silly at first but the reflectors on the bag are super handy when walking around after a gig. That being said, a few friends have messinas and that's what I'll be getting next!

    octave pedal cool or not.

    very cool! It's the only pedal that almost every bassist I know owns. I use a 3leaf Octabvre and it pretty much nails the OC2 sound. It's just a tinnyy bit shy on the low end though compared to the OC2. I love using it with a fuzz or overdrive. It sounds amazing through my wooly mammoth clone.
