    do yourself a favor and buy an sx. kurt is a nice guy and if you don't like it, send it back and he will fully refund it. an sx IME is better in quality AND sound than a squire...not to sure about theire vintage series though.

    please! i might b buying a bass this week!

    do yourself a favor and buy an sx jazz bass. better than squire in my experience and you can also get that warm p bass sound with some tweaking of the tone knobs..so its like a 2 in 1! :D also, sx are VERY easy to mod if you want/need to down the road.

    i slap, pop, and flaminco, but i generally use picks. they are just so much more comfortable.

    sell it, buy an sx jazz, put a bartolini in the bridge, put a emg 35dc in the neck, replace all hardware, then keep the extra $500 :D :edit: jk.

    i have a cheap digitech multi effects prossesor thats great ate dialing in metal, and jazz, and classic rock, and punk, and primus...and the list goes on. :p

    count me in! i have an sx sjb-62 with a single emg 35dc..kind of a one trick pony but it suits me fine. :)
