Virginia Bassists

My job is in the direct flight paths of all jets coming and going from Langley AFB. 10 at a time!! 4-5 times a day!! In addition, my house in the path of incoming flights to Williamsburg/Newport News Airport! I feel your pain!!

In my old house, off of Lynnhaven in the Magic Hollow community, you could see the "whites of the pilot's eyes" when they flew over... 200 or 300 feet over the house.

Literally.

The recessed light cans in my living room would rattle, as would virtually everything else, and you had to stop conversations (or pause the TV) while they were flying over... Sometimes 30 seconds apart or less, for several hours.

Now I'm in Red Mill Farm area, and we hear them every now and then, but it's not even loud enough to have to turn the tv up. :D

Must...get...image...out of...my...head.

Here's the kicker: that's my dear 61 y.o wife (aka Mrs. Zooberwerx) putting the strokin' material out on the shelves. But do I ever get a leftover or damaged copy? Noooooooo!

She called me all excited the other day when she found out the Jonas Bros. are scheduled to make a guest appearance at Oceana later this month.

Okay, Riis, so I was at the Nex today and found every friggin' music magazine imaginable (I have a limited imagination - Revolver, Source, Guitar World, even Acoustic Guitar magazine) but no Bass Player.

What would it take to get some representation?

Susan wasn't sure if you guys knew how to read.

Have you even seen Bass Player as of late? Its turned into a real rag. For that fact, why are you looking for BP when there's tons of alternative material loaded with bobblin' sweater pies? Next time you're there, look for Susan....she's usually there 3+ times a week. She'll answer to "Zooberwerx" as that's the name of her art studio.
