08 Highway One P Pickup Into A Squier P VM?

Yeah. Thinking of replacing the pickup on my Squier Precision with one from a HWOne P. Basically, my question is: Is the pickup on Highway One P better than the pickup on Squier P?

Got a spare 08 Fender Highway One pickup just collecting dust. Has anyone done this? Would this be a good mod for a Squier P?

    Swapping P Pickups...

Thinking of swapping in SD SPB-3 into my Highway One. Do I have to change the volume and tone pots too? If so, please recommend me some good ones. Thanks in advance.

Ross Valory of Journey. What is that effect he used?

I think he's just Musicman straight into Ampeg SVT-4 PRO nowadays. But, yeah, you could hear a bit of chorus on Don't Stop Believin. Does anyone know what effects he's using on "What It Takes To Win"? I just love his tone on that song.

DIY board made of 1/8" alum, punched, formed, and corners welded (at work) and painted (oven/fireplace flat black). Speaker enclosure carpet/fabric glued on top and pedals velcro'd.

    Show me your lunchboxes!

Thanks. I still have to drill some holes to hide all the cables inside the board. Future mod: 1/4" plexiglass lid underneath and blue fluorescent lighting (as seen in most computer cases) that would shine through underneath which would highlight the bottom edges of the board.
