Robert Trujillo rockin in style !

Not taking sides here (and I'm not a lawyer either) but the fact that Trujillo does play a Green Ric, doesn't prove by itself that the first image wasn't photoshoped.

Most images on tour posters and advices get some photoshop to enhance those little things that looks bad or to make the image cooler or more appealing to the viewer.

(and I think I'm watching too much CSI lately) :)

thats true but most ppl thought it was a fake , ie they've put the rick in not just touched up the foto.

Not that it matters..

but... ;)

Any photographer (pro or amateur) immediatly sees that is obviously photoshopped.

Compare the lighting on Rob's forearm with the lighting on the bridge pickup.
Compare the shadow of the knobs on the bass with the shadow of the pants on his leg.

off course not that it matters.

Any turd in the world with decent photoshop skills and internet access could have done this on their lunch hour. There doesn't necessarily need to be a reason to photoshop it.

Just do a google image search and you will find that there are a million people out there with nothing better to do.

FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIL!

any clips videos of him playing the rick been found ?

look at it in action

I call BS on this. Its such a low res image, I think you're just seeing what you want to see. Also, theres no surface in the photo at all comparible to the flat painted bass, so you cant really make that assumption that it doesn't fit.

It is BS. The grain on the bass is consistent with with rest of the photo. And yes, in every channel too. Not that it really proves anything by looking at individual channels. What's with all the sceptics on TB that see something and call out "PHOTOSHOPED" anyway? Half of them don't even know what they're talking about.

i just think its absolutely hilarious all these people with their..."AAAMMAAAZZZIIIINGGGGGGGG" photoshop skills and knowledge of it just got smashed in the face by the fist of wrong. stop being so stuck in your ways that everything on the internet is fake... it really gets annoying. especially considering its coming from MM a mod and as we all know a huge metallica fan...there's pics of this bass allllll over the place as many people have posted

ex pre-press here, had I seen the thread before it was proven to be real i'd be in saying its most likely photoshopped; it realy does look like the bass was inserted into the photo (obviously from the other photos we have seen it wasn't though)
