Was looking for a flat board I could mount above my Moog and found the Metro24 with the ATA case for the same price as the soft case. Thought it was a fluke on Amazon but Sweetwater has the same deal now! Pedaltrain Metro 24 TC 24"x8" Pedalboard with Tour Case Can't find any other PT boards...

I'm waiting to find out myself. Thought I found a unicorn!

People rag on Boss, even I used to...but You don't become the Industry Standard by sucking. Many of my favorite bass tones throughout the 90s and 00s were usually Boss. Chevelle's Joe Loeffler used an ODB-3 and has one of the best gritty modern rock bass tones that I still never get bored of.

It's also able to be always-on; which was a tiny neusance for me for my in-ears setup. I'll definitely be picking one up to put at the end of my chain and tuck in my amp head rack for in ears, and probably put my OCSD back on my board for the FOH DI

I didn't think I'd ever bother with them, but here I am, with 4 preamps in my chain. My Primary, my love, my eternal flame, is the Verellen Meatsmoke preamp. Hands down the most beautifully sculpted tone I've ran through. Running this into a GK RB700II power section yields an immense sound...

Yeah I got bored today and flipped them around. Channel 2 is a lot more tame but Channel 1 lost a bit of it's oomph. No free lunch :(

Cali76CB. Close close close second would be the AO Ultra.... .....unless I can count my Meatsmoke Preamp. Then it's that above all else until the end of time.

I've yet to find a pedal-sized pre with a headphone out that doesn't have some hiss in the headphones. Even my OmniCabSim has hiss on it. AO Ultra would be my go-to. Cab sim is changeable, drive is tasty and organic, EQ is immense.

I feel a fool. For the longest time I was running my Ch1. Master Out on my MS Rack Preamp at around 3:00 or so, because that's how I used to run the pedal version when it was on my board. It sounded good but deep down always seemed like something was missing. Lo and behold it finally occurred...
