Actually It came with out a pick guard who ever had it before must have removed it. I guess they liked it better that way.

After a long wait and multiple mishaps I was finally able to get a new bass. It wasn't the stingray I wanted but I am impressed with how well this thing sounds and plays. Got it for 550 from guitar center with a case and the ugly blue strap. After not owning a mij fender I am really impressed...

do you happen to know if the chrome guard(not sure what to call it) of a stingray would fit on a sterling?

So I have been looking for the past week or 2 and Im currently trying to find stingray or sterling (both music man)with a matching headstock and rosewood board and I am currently having 0 luck on ebay samash and anywhere else. can anyone provide some insight or if i missed somewhere(i checked gc)

Im gassing for a black big al sss 4 string or a stingray 4h with a rosewood board and matching headstock.

Also the bass in question is the usa sub I am not interested in imports.

Yeah I was looking at gc and its either 800 total for what I assume is a 4h or about 5ish plus I dig the look and sound of rosewood over maple but thats just me.

I was looking in to this recently check guitar center used I found a used stingray for 700 lets just say it now belongs to me there is a used sterling sb14 for 350 if you want that style bass I dont trust ebay for buying used i tend to always go gc as they have a return policy.

So I always wanted a stingray and finally have the chance in a couple of weeks to get one,used of course.I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the music man sub bass (the usa one) all I know is that it is made in the us,how does it compare to the sterling ray 34 in terms of quality and...
