Well I can only tell you about the VU meter on my MAG, which is responsive all the way through. I can easily... push it all the way to the peaking, red area. It only seems a little "timid" and won't jump up with low gain settings but I wouldn't call this anything close to a glitch. If I were...

Oh, there's a (great) Ashdown behind the gorgeous Ric... didn't notice at first. ;) Rad rig!

Yours trully on some way-over silly poses, with my beloved MAG rig on a recent gig. On a 200-300 people venue I had plenty of stage power. The tone was warm (seems like you just can't sound harsh through an Ashdown) and very balanced, all with the gain on a fairly "timid" setting and the output...

    Seriously...M-80 or BDDI?

Well guys, I am as well, in need of advice... I have an M80 and I am thinking of replacing it with the BDDI. The reason is this: I mostly play alternative rock on my Spector and quite a few times I feel like pushing my sound to the "heavier" territory... The reason that I am let down by the M80...

    Dan Maines Clutch

Saw Clutch live last night in Athens, Greece. Dan had a meaty, overdriven, crushing tone with his Ric! By the end of the gig I caught a quick glimpse of the stage and (with a minor reserve) all I saw between the Ric and the two STV's was a.... boss tuner!:) Perfection through simplicity

    Seymour Duncan STC-3p

Bumping the thread to ask a really, really silly question... So I'm getting the Seymour Duncan STC-3p circuit for my Spector. The bass is an entry-line chinese model with two passive "EMG-SSD" humbuckers and typical volyme/tone passive circuitry. My question is, when I get the new preamp circuit...

replacement ideas for EMG SSD pickups

Hey there, bumping this dusty thread for quite the same reason: I own a NS-2002B Spector, with a pair of EMG-SSD passive pups. Here's the bass model, as seen on the official Spector site: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] Well the thing is, I am having a hard time to get the desired tone from...

Cheers Jostein! Well, let me tell you, this very rig didn't cost me more than 630€ (430€ for the combo + 200€ for the 15" cab). It was big money for me, for sure, but relatively few, compared to the alternatives.;) The bass is a Spector NS-2002B, a "budget line" bass, made for...

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed] :hyper: There she is! MAG C210T-300 on top of a MAG-115, this rig sounds LOUD, have yet to try it on a live situation (the 15" cab is brand new) but so far everything sound powerful - happy kid here!:bassist:

Hello far and wide!!! This is my very first post! :hyper: In proper celebration of it, I reckon that an "artistic" pic of my brand-new Ashdown MAG300 2x10 combo should do justice.:) By the way, the amp, being my first "proper" bass amp, is like ...being in love - I can't stop thinking of how...
