    my broncos are well set-up, and for tender hands and fingers, d'addario makes short scale extra light strings (i think they call them ultra lights), which i've had on my broncos for years. plus there are drop-in pickups if a change in tone is wanted. they're versatile, comfortable basses.

    why not its own thing? years ago, i heard a solo guy sing "i think i love you" with just conga drums. it sounded pretty cool, actually. that's too bad. i play a few POTUS songs, but never thought of trying that one till a music channel suggested it...

    personally, i don't know how you can eat watermelon WITH salt. i grew up with unsalted watermelon, so maybe that explains it.
