[/IMG]My first Jazz bass; A 2011 Squier Affinity J-Bass that I bought 2 weeks ago as a "Stop Dreaming, Start Playing" combo, it's pretty much stock, besides changing the strings, setting the action height-intonation, changed the plastic nut; made one out of bone and replaced those wimpy screws...

If someone I know wants to see/hold my bass it's ok but to play it...no and my guitars not one of my friends touches them because they are all in different tunings;)

At 15 Fender Jazz, at 47 Fender Precision so I have a cool copy of the "P" that I love; It's my one and only bass.

Here is my "stoner bass"; great for playing 60's british blues and acid rock. :o

You can have well set-up cheap equipment that plays great; another thing is to have crappy gear. Musical instruments have to be taken care of so they sound good all the time.

Yes, it has happened to me too, dealing with some ignorant sales people, (not all are bad; some really know about their job), so every time I walk in; if any of these approches to me, I just tell them: "If I need any help I'll call you, ok?" :eyebrow:
