all the same? I guess I need to read a good primer on wiring. I figured what could be hard about 1 pup 1 tone 1 vol and 1 cap. That last diagram assumes there is a copper plate under the pickup? this knock off did not have one of those plates. Everything looks grounded to me without that?

So if I follow the BassLines scheme and the pick guard is not foiled I should add a ground wire between the 2 pots.

I have twoalpha pots for a pbass rewire job one is marked A250K and the other is B250K I am thinking A250K is audio taper and b250k is linear?

Put it on first and use a laminate trim bit for a router to bevel it. Cool project I am just starting to consider doing a similar project but will probably buy a dano short scale neck.
