Finally something I can wrap my head (fingers?) around. Almost everything I see is a 5’er or some other freakish thing. Maybe it’s not the most aesthetically beautiful bass but with everything being a p or j knockoff it’s good to see something different.

I don’t know why it posted 3 times but the alembic Epic on the right is my oldest. I got it in 1998 just 3 years after it was born for a song. Someone must have really needed cash in a hurry.

Sounds to me like he got a different bass player and he doesn’t want to tell you. If the BL calls again tell him you blew out your knee and you’re not available. If he calls again tell him you’re recovering from knee replacement surgery and won’t be able to play standing up any more.

I put a high mass bridge on my paranormal Jbass primarily to get the action where I wanted it. I still had to shim the neck as well. The other mod was purely aesthetic.

I love everything about this bass especially the degree of craftsmanship involved BUT I can’t wrap my head around the color. Black, perhaps, or red even but not that green. Sorry.
