    Bag End Club.

I had the SWR Big Ben with the bag end 1x18 in it. I built a fearful head box with a 1x6.5 (i think) and a horn. 3 way crossover. Sounded incredible. The 18 with girthy and massive below 300hz. IMO you need to cross them over at pretty low frequencies to get the best results.

Club Bergantino! Let's See Those Rigs!

My favorite amp with the nv610t is the v4b reissue. It gets plenty loud and sounds perfect.

SWR Super Redhead + extension cab for rock band

Tube DI vs RNDI and random tube pedal

I searched around and found my old notes. The BDDI wasn’t the *most* tone-sucking pedal I had, but it stands out in my memory because it had some drain on my tone when bypassed, and I liked the effect so much, so it was always a hard decision whether or not to use it. This was the 1/4” out, not...

Tube DI vs RNDI and random tube pedal

I would drop down to just the empress, listen. Add back the hpf, listen. Etc. You just never know where the tone is going.

Tube DI vs RNDI and random tube pedal

Just as an example from my past: a sansamp BDDI if it is engaged changes the tone a lot, it can be great in a certain context. But if you bypass the effect while keeping the pedal in your signal chain, it sucks a lot of life out of the bypass tone. So then you feel like you have to have it on...

Tube DI vs RNDI and random tube pedal

Most tube DIs are pretty subtle, IME all those pedals and cables in your signal chain might be removing more life than a new DI can add back. I think it’s generally better to have a simpler signal path or if you need lots of bells and whistles switch over to a helix. I have also had good luck...

Official Mesa Boogie Subway Series Club

@USAJO to get an eden-ish sound from a d800+ and sw115 Id suggest pushing the voicing up to 1 or 2 o clock, then boost both low mids and high mids, resulting in a scoop in the mid mids but punchy low mids and growly high mids. Treble at 9 o clock for starters, bass flat, push the hpf up until...
