Never heard of Babicz, butI'll probably end up with the Hipshot. One of the guys from Kiesel sent me a link to a $20 Guyker bridge on Amazon, but I'd rather not go with that one. Wonder if that's what they actually used. Thanks for your input! Pickups

Any idea on a bridge replacement for the sb 5000?

Thanks 5sg. I will ask Kiesel again about the control plate. I would assume that they didn't make their own control plates. The tech I talked to gave me links to Hipshot tuning keys and Gotoh bridge to replace those, so I wonder if one of those companies made the control plate. Thanks

Does anybody know where to get a replacement chrome control plate and knobs for the sb5000? Not really into the gold hardware and would like to switch it out. Asked Kiesel and they said they don't have them. Thanks

I hope it's released soon, but taking 2 years, more delays and really not mentioning the combo in the Namm video has me a little concerned as to why they aren't really pushing the combo. Maybe it's not to their liking or Trickfish" worthy," I could be wrong and I hope I am ... it's just a little...

Just saw where Trickfish has the mini 500/mini 112 combo at NAMM 2025. Wonder if it’s the same combo they said was going to be released last summer? They really never mentioned it in their namm video even tho it was in the background. Anyway, looking forward to hearing it, but also wondering why...

I had my bass restrung with the E and A being switched. I really don't know if I can hear a difference because I replaced with different strings(Perpetuals). I did have a few instances where I thought I was tuning the A string but was actually turning the E tuner:)

Never thought about the tuning and strain on the pegbox. I guess, that makes sense. One of the luthiers I used to work with said the E string sounds better when its not on the first peg, but who knows. Watched two videos with Patitucci and he had one bass with E on the first peg and the other on...

Old post here, but I notice your E string is on the second tunings post. I've been to two luthiers that have different opinions on if this is the "right thing" to do. Currently my E string is on the the first tuning post, but would like to try it on the second post. Why do you have your E string...

Thanks for there reminder! This is also true if you ever rent your gear out to backline companies. Lost a few cords over the years.

I've thought about doing that before. Currently, I use the Aguilar amp bag.
