Same here, was thinking to finally try to get one even though I don't really need another analogue octaver. Luckily the drop on the 31st is at a decent European time as well, that pre-order price is definately too much for me.

No, if you use the hub you don't need the MIDI adapters. The hub is the better option if you plan on controlling more than two SA pedals via MIDI.

I wasnt aware, but just found out there's some controversy of which the short summary looks like him selling rebranded versions of other pedals while not being transparant about it and/or making quite some extra money off of it. I just did a quick search here and in Google but it sounds shady...

Maybe it's more about supporting small businesses instead of just getting a pedaltrain or rockboard product? A few small/individual pedalboard builders that I can think of are Vertex (USA), Looperwerk (Germany) and Dr Stan Pedalboards (Austria). Especially Dr Stan makes some visually appealing...

Pretty common to have a HPF after your octave, especially if it's a suboctave like the Meatbox or Mantic Hulk. Even with those you don't need the sub 25 Hz range, only thing that range does is muddy your sound and potentially damage your amp. Good point as well. I actually do the opposite...

I initially used a DMC Micro Gen 3 with my C4 because just the six presets weren't enough and I needed to scroll through them quickly. I agree, if the C4 itself would just have a two footswitch scroll possibility with at least the preset numbers that would be so useful.

I can only speak about the DC7 but I haven't had any issues with the voltage accidently flipping to other settings
