Yep about the same. The amp I have, i think, is 10 watts. I know the 12/6 eats it up.

Agreed...I'm running my 12/6 alpha wih a 15W practice amp found in many beginner bass kits. I pulled it out of the 6" speaker enclosure it was in, built and stained a box made from the ply I used on the 12/6 and run it...12/6 built per plans. I can vibrate ALL the walls in my 2400 sqft. 2...

I bought an air stapler. Didn't use it on the 12/6 but I can say it will hold better than brads...great little gun to have for any wood working. Wish I had it when building the cab.

Other projects, one in particular, could use the cash. But I just can't at this point in time...maybe if someone splashed cash in front of me, but the cab sounds so good, even using the 15w amp ... :>)

After concidering selling the completed but not "finished" 12/6, I decided to finish the cabinet with stain, grill, etc. I just hate to get rid of it. Some pics. One more coat of poly when the weather wams but one coat looks good at this point. Per plans 12/6 fEarful.

take a piece of tape (clear tape) wrap it around your index finger so the sticky side is out, and gently put your finger with the tape on the dented dust cap. Quickly pull of your finger. Rrepeat as necessary. Worked great for me on many speakers.
