First, congratulations, what a beauty! Before anything else I would try a very small spray of DeOxit directly in to the volume pot and give it a few full turns to see if that restores the functionality and problem is resolved

I voted GHS precision flats, had the same set on my single coil P Bass for eight years and they are exactly what I want in tone, tension and super smooth feel. Please try a set

TH-500 I use it with Aggie 1x 12 (SL) for modest gigs and 2x 12's (DB)for louder ones

I can emphasise... I also have fast growing nails and they are such that a little growth makes a lot of difference to my technique and playing style. I used to get caught out all the time when I had a weekly/twice-weekly gig. Every other week for a while I would have that realisation around 4pm...

Same 45-105 set 8 years strong on my main gigging bass... still has incredible tone, tension and stay perfectly in tune. Highly recommended:)

I know it's a different scene here, but you can begin to understand how shi**y it must have felt to James Jamerson to be uncredited on so many classic and mind blowing baselines, and then on top of that after your dead have other well known session players try and claim your work due to false...
