Very nice! I had some blotchiness and really black areas on my first attempt after sanding it down with 320, so I sanded it back with 220 and used water based sanding sealer before my second attempt. It is much more even. Not perfect, but I tend to be hypercritical. Looking forward to painting...

The weather has been cold here. Need to tape it off and paint the headstock. Then I can apply the clear coats.

I used 30 drops of colortone vintage amber and 12 drops of Kalamazoo mahogany in a 1/2 ounce of bekol (recipe from a you tube video). I'm pleased with the color.

I did a lot of searching and reading and am intrigued by the possibility of the B20 bridge. It sounded like it might require shimming but it has the right hole pattern. Anyone else have success with this bridge, or is there a better way to go? The new guy thanks you.

Does anyone know if the Hipshot A style bridge would fit the mikro? I saw in one post someone had installed a babicz. What model was that? Did it require a lot of work to put in?
