Immigrant - I remember that guy from Youtube (RushZappa2112). I don't know about doctoring, but I remember that he had the bass/guitar/drums videos seperately in his channel. I'm at work now, and Youtube is blocked so I can't check either :) My answer is a huge, sad NO to the OP's question.

Hey everyone, I just want to thank you for all the great advice! I'm definitely subscribing as soon as get a job and a credit card :p I was very nervous and shaky until I got on the stage, I smoked tons of cigarettes but I stayed away from booze. But I got very relaxed after the soundcheck :D...

We *might* be able to soundcheck the day before, but I'm not sure. We will have a very experienced, wonderful sound-guy with us there, I trust him that I will be able to hear myself and others well. Quick stretches and deep breaths... noted :) Thanks to TB, a (small :D) part of me now feels...

Well, after reading the replies I guess I won't risk it - I will probably chain smoke beforehand and that's all. I would never forgive myself if I mess up because of alcohol. Plus if that tunnel vision thing decides to happen to me, it wouldn't go well with the alcohol in the bloodstream :p...

I will at least change my battery the day before the gig - that I know for sure :D Expecting to make mistakes sound very well too.. About the relaxing part, would you guys recommend a shot of tequila before the gig? Or do you think that alcohol is a no-no for such a first time experience?

That's comforting too, thank you :) Is it the "less personal" aspect of the large crowd making you less nervous? That devil does talk too much in my brain. I hope it will shut up as we rehearse more and more :)
