I think that reviewer and I listened to a lot of the same music when we were younger. I 100% know that isn’t an effect I need, but I think the way he’s using it is superb and I can see it working really well in the right band.

I have that bass! I wanted a five that sounded modern and with a set of stainless steel round wounds I think it fits the bill perfectly. Word of caution—the eq is extreme. Make small adjustments and I’m betting you can make her sing!

I don’t know what your sound setup is, but if I were in this situation, I’d set up an aux mix at the board just for her and send it to a Rolls or similar headphone amp. That mix could have the whole band minus you, so she could hear what it’s like to play along and get the experience on stage. I...
