That P you're talking about is amazing, I played one at guitar center last week and was floored. I had just purchased a mim active jazz a few days before for 350$ otherwise I would have bought it. Not sure about the basses but the affinity series guitars are bleh.

I have this same bass and its awesome! This is such a low price especially with a HSC. Would you happen to know the difference in the pups between your model from 2004 and mine which is from 2002? I notice yours has something written on them, are they custom? Someone buy this bass!!!

+1 for the MIM Active Jazz. I just bought my first yesterday from a guy for 350$ and its great. Black body with tortoise pick guard and rosewood neck. I played a frickin Squier P Bass at GC last week that was 300 dollars and blew me away, felt and sounded better than most of their fender basses...

Hey I'd like to join! Here is my RBX 250, this bass sounds and feels awesome. According to Yamaha its either from 1992 or 2002, I'm thinking the later.
