You can click the Review button at the top of the page and navigate to bass guitar reviews and post it there. The process is pretty much self guiding. Make sure you have your pics ready beforehand because you can't add them later. You could also (hint) start a thread in this forum ;)

I paid for it a few minutes ago. I did call the seller and ask if I was eligible for their shipping discount for quick pay and they said yes so its like I got that thing for $45 and some change before it was done. Dayum my BF is going to kill me when he gets home and finds out I got another axe.... oh dear... LOL

I can't wait to get it in and get it fixed. And yea I will have googone ready. That bridge looks pretty dingy too. Hope it cleans up and is ok. If not I will probably had to get another bridge for it. No biggie.

That's a real steal :D You may have to use a bit of oil to clean the bridge. The setup and luthier forums may have some additional help as well. Amazing number of knowledgable people posting there....

I have been reminded on just how much knowledge/experience is on this board with my beginning work on my Memphis. Its amazing. This place rocks so well!!

And yea that is a steal even if its not working right now. I am keeping my fingers crossed its just a broken wire or pots or maybe even just the jack but am prepared for the worst possible scenario with the electronics. I think even if I have to gut it and replace everything (I hope not but still LOL) I think its a good deal. Its pretty dirty though so I know Im in for a lot of clean up. There is a sticker on the back of the neck I might leave on but the rest are gone as fast as I can get them off (safely that is).

I went to Yamahas site and they have no info on this model. Its a discontinued one. I didn't really know. I am that n00b with Yammys. But the more I look at that neck the more I can't wait to get my hands on it.

A while ago my GF expressed interest in starting to play bass. I expressed how awesome entry level Yamaha instruments were, and we started checking ebay. We ended up finding something pretty cool: a old RBX 550 in red, and ended up getting it for about £70 ($140!)

Unfortunately, my Musicman Bongo has been in the shop for a while, so I ended up keeping the bass for myself for a while... it was my first gig last Friday, and it was on the red Yammy :)

Been too lazy to post pictures recently, but since I gigged, there's plenty!

Just got it yesterday(trb1005,brand new),i planed to use it as my working bass but it will be much more than that

I am holding off asking for a club number until I get my RBX200 in. Even not working I can still test it unplugged of course and see how it feels to me. I have never touched a Yamaha before let alone seen one in person so this was a real gamble for me. I just really liked what I saw though (sans those stickers LOL) when I found it and for its price I was willing to take a chance. But I gather from what has been said about yammys in general and the RBX series that I will fall in love with the thing. eh? ^_^

Thanks for the number!! I do like this RBX200 and it is a keeper. ^_^ Glad to be part of the club!

Its funny cause my plan was that if I liked it, I was fixing it and keeping it. If I didn't I was fixing it and flipping it but my BF felt I was going to like it. He doesn't play bass or guitar or anything so it was a pretty interesting comment that he was sure I was going to like it. I was like 'How can you be so sure?' and he was like 'If they make their basses anything like their Motorcycles (quality and workmanship) -- you /will/ like it.' :p

Hey I'd like to join! Here is my RBX 250, this bass sounds and feels awesome. According to Yamaha its either from 1992 or 2002, I'm thinking the later.
