Yamaha Club Part II

at least I can go to ESP in Japan

Oh man you are so right. I went to their flagship, such cool stuff. I also own an Edwards E-Groover from ESP Japan that's out of site.

Not sure I should start a new thread but I'd thought here because you're Yamaha enthusiasts.
I recently bought a RBX 170 for about $65 and love it. Van anyone tell me the difference between this and the TRBX 170? I know it's a different body shape but is that all?
Strangely another Yamaha came up on a local sales site, a Motion Bass III. There was a a thread on here but it was a few years ago. Still with buying today? Asking price is equivalent of $220. Seems in good nick.

I would buy that for $220

A friend asked me what her Yamaha SB-500 could be worth.
I noticed the bridge had a bad lift.

Does anyone by chance has a spare one around?
Or knows where to order one?

I gues otherwise a Fender 4-String Hi-Mass Bridge is a fitting replacement.

Just make sure the bridge has the same dimensions. That one comes off it's going to leave some indentations in the finish I would imagine.

Restrung the Motion B with LaBella 760FS-M .045/.105 medium scale flats from Strings by Mail, and feels great, plays great, sounds great. I think this little medium scale gem can hold its own against any long scale you care to pit it against.

Hey folks,

Does anyone know the fingerboard radius for an RBX200? I just bought an old fretless model and I'd like to find out the radius in case I need to do some work on the fingerboard and order a radiused sanding block. Thanks!

Recently acquired a 1973 SA-70 in great condition—especially for a bass that's now more than 50 years old! I'm in the process of replacing the tone control (with a linear taper pot) but beyond that she's in great condition, with both f-hole shields and the bridge mute all in excellent shape.
