I have to agree. I have the V4 with the same tubes. Love the tone!!!!

When I bought this rig I wanted to go with the 18" bottom. not the 15" Why would two 4-10 cab's perform better than the 4-10 on-top of a 15" or 18" cabinet?

The V4 only supports 4 and 8 ohm's. My cabinets are 16 ohm each putting my ohm setting at 8.

So ...I ditch the 15 and add another identical 4-10... making it a 2x 4-10 w/t horn, ...I will not be looking for more head room or for it to be loud enough with my Trace Elliot V4 head?

ie: Dumping the 15" What are the pro's or con's with the 15? I thought it really fattened up the tone and helped move some serious air.
