I just weighed out the tone knobs on a 5 lb Pelouze scale and here's what I found: ATK chrome tone knob= .7 oz / 21 g 4 knobs= 2.8 oz / 84 g Fender plastic tone knob= .2 oz / 6 g 4 knobs= .8 oz / 24 g So you can see that changing knobs will save you about 2 oz. Gotta start somewhere.
