It could be an impedance issue between the bass and the amp. I'd try a preamp buffer.

Thanks so much. I understand perfectly now what you've done and it makes sense. I may try a couple other less drastic measures.... but if they don't work this may be what I have to do.

If you could post pics that would be great because I'm not quite sure I get your concept. I just know that I'd REALLY like to solve this problem.

This may have been asked and answered before but I don't have the time to look through the multitude of posts.... I recently got the endpin stand to use with the wav and while I LOVE the feel of leaning the bass into my body I'm having problems with the bass rotating on the stand towards me...

I have a NS Wav 4 and a Line 6 Bass XT live. I also use an ART tube MP preamp (bass into line 6 into tube pre into amp). I've found that the pod adds a great deal of tone. The tube pre solves any impedence problems, makes a great DI and adds "warmth" to the sound. The setup doesn't sound...
