We've got a guy who has a Mike Mangini/Neil Peart set-up. I mean this set is huge. But he only uses one bass drum (out of 3), he can't fill, can't keep the tempo, but insists that due to the size of his kit, he is awesome. The moment we gave some advice, he threw a temper tantrum like a baby.

I've realized that if one were to replace the word "love" with the word "lunch", the songs would still make sense. Personally, I never want to hear the word "crunk-tacular" ever used again, in or out of a song. I'm pretty sure that's not even a real word.

I like that one guy, you know, with the hair? He plays for that band, they had a good song. C'mon, I know you've heard of them. They used to play next to that place that sells chili.

I use D'Addrio XL Chromes, flat-wound, medium scale 5-string sets. In my humble opinion, nothing sounds better in metal than a fretless bass with flatwound strings.
