    i played a 700 rb II through an ampeg 8x10 this past weekend and ... wow. what a rumble. although i wouldve liked to play it through my 410hlf. oh well i love the tone of the gk head. totally want one now. but still love the sound of my ampeg cab.

    i hate to do this but im in the same situation. only im using a peavey megabass head and am looking to go gk or b2re. low fund situation, fams first. but i like a mike starr or jesse vest tone. uh. help me too

    Considering GK RB800 + Ampeg SVT410HLF - What do you think?

    cant compare to the gk, but i own the 410hlf and i can say that it is sweet rumble and punch. no complaints and you can probably find one used for cheaper than 750. especially on guitar center used section.
