Very nice. While it’s not a bass I finally found my first 6 string (1966 Silvertone 1439L) on Reverb. The guitar sold for $84.95 in the sears or wards catalog. They didn’t produce many so finding survivors in playable condition are rare.

Almost forgot we had another club mgr on Okinawa who stopped us playing Cocaine. We stopped took a break and came back on and played it but substituted “kool-aid” in place of cocaine. The director of all Marine clubs on Okinawa booked us himself since we did both country and rock which no other...

We had a local club owner that wouldn’t let any band play Mustang Sally. He didn’t care how good or what version you played. If you started it he stopped ya and banned ya from future gigs.

Ain’t that the truth. The dealer I bought my RAV4 from offered me more than I paid for it two yrs ago.

Not a big fan of KD but an old high school musician friend of mine (Gregg Arriguine - may he RIP) toured with her. Came off tour and found out he had cancer and died not long after. So sad he was an awesome guitar player.

Bought a Fender Mustang back in 2005 which is my only bass. Tried a few others and they didn’t play or sound as good for some reason. Maybe one day I’ll find one I like better.
