You know I haven't checked another amp. Ill try that next. I have already tried a new tweeter and it did the same thing so I don't believe its the tweeter. I did change cables also. No change.

I can only assume its in the xover or Lpad. I changed the tweeter and still have the same issue. Before I go rebuilding components or changing Lpad, could someone give me their opinion. The tweeter makes a very static like sound. Obviously it goes away when Lpad is turned down. Thanks

did anyone find a solution to this? Im having the same problem. Found a relay right before the output that was acting up. Bypassed it. Now it just hums. No sound. Pre amp works fine. Bypassed it already. Power supply?

Electronic devices don't "draw anything" they simply "allow" it. Thus in speaker cabinets, they cannot "allow" anymore than the wattage rating. So as in a 50 watt head on a 400 watt cab, that happens all the time. Or close to it. Old school Marshall electric guitar amps. Say a 50 watt plexi...

Tried this post once it didn't work. Hey will. What would you think of the beta 10's in a sealed 8x10 with a tweeter. We're going for a punchy bass tone. Maybe a little twang. Kinda like a pop rock/punk tone. A little mid rangey. Would this setup be versatile for other genres?

Well I was kinda modeling a 2x10 that i saw. The 2x10 had only 1 port so I was just trying to get a good response with just 1 port. Solely for learning purposes. I'm using eminence beta 10.

Thanks Will33. You're always very helpful. I have been messing with my design and I have adjusted it to get a pretty nice smooth response with a rolloff where I want. I was only curious because it was saying my port tuning was something rediculous like 10-15 hz. I mean plot looks good...
