    Bergantino B/Amp at NAMM

Hey Jim, how's the Bluetooth pedal coming? Do you have any prototype pics / dimensions? (Trying to design a pedal board layout, need to leave some space) Will it take external 9v power?

Looking For Double Bass Guitar Gig Bag Recommendations

Yeah, especially the third party (Mono, Reunion Blues, ...) gig bag brands. Some of them make a big deal about having a pocket for a tablet, IMHO a stand pocket or straps would be more useful. Only down side I can think of is that the stand could get "pushed" against your Bass if the bag gets...

Micro Shootout - Ampeg, Bergantino, Markbass, Gallien Krueger

A Bergantino B|Amp would handle that quite nicely. Just sayin :D (you think you're spoiled now...)

    'Sound Proofing' New Practice Spot

It can be done, but it not easily. I once built a control room in the corner of a walk out basement - with 105 dB pumping through the monitors you could barely hear anything standing a foot from the outside wall. That required a completely decoupled room-within-a-room design, including a raised...

Looking For Double Bass Guitar Gig Bag Recommendations

If your goal is to carry one bass + a stand, have you considered starting with a single bass bag you like and modifying it? It shouldn't be too hard to add some straps that would let you attach the stand (folded) to the bag, much like some camera gear backpacks let you strap on a tripod. I...

Looking For Double Bass Guitar Gig Bag Recommendations

The Gator G-PG BASS 2X would fit most of your requirements. I can put a TC RH450 - class D but far from "micro" -in the front pocket. Negatives are weight (11+lbs empty) and (at least for me) the backpack straps - they're padded, but the attachment design leaves a bit to be desired. That...

A Gift for the Bassist in My Life

Wow, just missed it... well, in case you consider adding another box or two, here are some more suggestions : Sonic Research Turbo Tuner : Strobe Tuners by Sonic Research - Turbo Tuner Home Page - either one of the best or worst tuners available if you're a little OCD about tuning. Ditto on the...

    Gen. Questions

Nah, real tort must be properly seasoned over time. If you're really hard core you start with a baby tortoise... Just kidding, AFAIK Fender has never manufactured pick gaurds made from "real" tortoise, which usually came from sea turtles, not tortoise (tortoises? tortoi?), and is now...

    Amazon Deals WITH Discussion Thread

I picked up a Godin A5 Ultra Fretless on Amazon last month for $860.01. Current model, don't think it was used, but it does have a problem with noise in the piezo pickups - might be a ground problem. But other than that I've been really enjoying it. Working with Godin to get the noise fixed...

    1 x 12 cabinets

A new Bergantino 112 might be pushing your budget a bit ($800 just for the Neo cabinet - and I don't know if he has any dealers in Japan) but if you can find a used Bergantino 112 in good condition and pair it with a decent class D head, you'll probably like the results.

    Bergantino B/Amp at NAMM

    Yep, typo, should have been HDN312 , which is the HDN112 + HDN212. The HDN322 combo is indeed an HDN112 + HDN210

    Best Class D Bass Amps???

I wouldn't hold your breath on a v2.0 B|Amp arriving any time soon - I suspect there would need to be something far more significant than Wifi support to justify the costs of retooling and stocking another version. Besides, there's a reasonable chance that you'll eventually be able to connect...

    Bergantino B/Amp at NAMM

It should be able to handle an HDN212 when set for 4 ohms. It also looks like it can be set for 2.7 ohms which should work for the HDN212 and your CN112 together (at least the current model, according to the specs on their web site - check to make sure yours does, early units might not have...
