Definitely would give you more volume/headroom, assuming your amp can drive it (HDN212 is 4 ohm, so assuming the CN112 is 8 ohm and you run parallel you'd be looking at 2.67 ohm? Which, of course, the B|Amp will push without breaking a sweat) Can't say how well they'd match acoustically, but Bergantino sells the HDN112 and HDN212 together as a set (HDN322), so if the CN112 performs similarly to the HDN112 it would probably work very well...
As stated above . ....it reproduces what ya put in. ...but it does it with warmth . Hard to explain why I like it better than my other-previous Class D amp. ... but I liken it a little to when I got my 1sr small amp - a LMII. That gave out what ya put in pretty well too . But with its adjustable eq & other things. this is way nicer.

Thanks for the input.. I have Glockenklang Blue Soul amp.. It will do 4 ohm easily I think. ??
Got the amp and absolutely love it. It's a home run all the way around. Perfect for acoustic instruments, which is my main reason for buying it, but it also sounds totally killer with electric bass. I have dialed in a little OD for blues and RnR and it is very analog/organic sounding!
A couple of questions:
Is anyone else using it with a Barefaced BB2? If so, what profiles have you tried with it?
Has anyone purchased the Studio Slips bag for it? How is the fit?

I love this amp. Thanks for your teams efforts in bringing it into the bass world.
Three things:
1) Powering up in mute mode as an option
2) It would be very helpful if the Q settings for the EQ were assignable per band instead of globally. This would allow acoustic instrument players a wider range of control. The low and high mids could be used, in conjunction with the built-in notch filter, as narrow Q feedback busters and to address trouble frequencies inherent in individual instruments while the bass and treble controls could be used as overall tone shapers in mid or wide Q mode.
3) Are there any plans to allow owners to write their own speaker profiles to the DSP?

I agree with Stu-Bass--having Q settings assignable per band in each profile could be really useful. Loving the B/Amp matched up with my assortment of Berg cabs!

It also looks like it can be set for 2.7 ohms which should work for the HDN212 and your CN112 together (at least the current model, according to the specs on their web site - check to make sure yours does, early units might not have supported 2.67 ohms?).
Of course, the B|Amp can do 800 watts into 2.7 ohms or 2 ohms - the Blue Soul tops out at 650 watts into 4 or 2.7 ohms and doesn't list any support for a 2 ohm speaker load. So while it will almost certainly sound great with the HDN212 (which is rated to handle 700 watts), if your looking for more output the Blue Soul might not be able to push it as far as it can go cleanly by itself, and certainly not with the CN112 added. Although it's less powerful, bigger, heavier, and won't have profiles for your Bergantino cabs ( looks like a really nice head, but hey, this is a B|Amp thread
) it ought to give you much more volume than the CN112 alone, and you can always add a B|Amp later...

The HT322 was a single cab with 1x12, 2x10, & HF driver/horn (great cab BTW).
All of the more recent *322 designations for cab combinations are a 1x12 cab + a 2x10 cab (e.g. AE112 + AE210 | CN112 + CN210 | HD112 + HD210 | HDN112 + HDN210).

Yep, typo, should have been HDN312 , which is the HDN112 + HDN212.
The HDN322 combo is indeed an HDN112 + HDN210
Hi. I have just ordered the B|Amp and I hope to have it in my hands afer 6-7 days. After, I visited the Berg site, I registered myself and I tried to find the downloads section to check the newest firmwares. I didn't find any downloads section for firmware. Can anyone tell me where I can find them? Thanks
Once you get yr amp you register it and it's serial number on the site. Updates are sent to you via email.
If it's new it should have the current firmware already loaded. The speaker profiles can be downloaded from the website.
Rodl2005 is correct about the firmware.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the amp. To answer your questions, first, if you power the amp down while mute is engaged, it will power up engaged. As for the assignable Q's for the tone controls, I am giving this some serious thought and there's a reasonable chance of it coming to fruition in a future firmware release. And finally, the profiles are very specific to our measurements and algorithms and therefore will not be open to B|AMP owners.

I believe it is 3.0. The install took less than a minute, and I doubt the file is much bigger than 10k, if that.
If you register your head with them, they will send you the updates automatically.

Work today. ...then corporate "end of year" type gig tonight. .. so, with me being lazy and having GREAT quality lightweight gear at my fingertips . ... it's the B-Amp's 1st gig with my Soul/Funk band tonight. I'll be using the AE410 with it. .. I've not downloaded the profile for the cab. .. busy time 4 me at present. .. so any hints from ppl who've used this combo will be appreciated .
The B-Amp really is easy to use tho. leave the presets out/off and she's a basic amp with 4 eq's . ...& if I press in preset no.1 I get a tiny bit of drive and comp....
