As one who blithely used the Sadowsky preamp with a completely wrongful concept of the controls for a decade and a half, I have come to doubt my ability to dial in any amplifier with more than one knob. Fortunately, the B|Amp is awesome, even in the hands of dunces, like myself.

Attached is a picture of a graph of three curves with the same center frequency (250hz) and boost (+5db) but with 3 different q's. The orange is the wider Q and the green the narrower. Hope this helps.

I noticed a pretty significant improvement with the various profiles loaded for my CN112's and CN110. The cabs all seemed to get "phatter" and punchier. I've downloaded and played with all the profiles just to see what they'd do with my various cabinets. Very interesting results and a very effective way to make your cabinet different than it currently sounds! IMO, Jim really scored with this approach!

Just make sure there's a row of zeros across the screen and you'll be fine.
